We ran across this cute couple Josh and Shelley living tiny and wanted to share some of their photos (from Hartman Outdoor Photography / IG @hartmanoutdoorphotography ) and their inspiring tiny living story:
"One year ago, Shelley and I were getting ready to drive off on our first cross country road trip. I remember how uncertain we were around this time. A lot of people were skeptical about our decision to sell our condo, go tiny, and live on the road. And quite a few people predicted we'd regret selling our home. One person even told me it'd be impossible to live in a space that small. I think their attitudes rubbed off on us and we were beginning to doubt our decision. To be honest, the idea to sell our stuff and move into a camper was pretty new to us too. (We thought of it just a few months prior.)
Fastfoward one year. I just spent the last ten days with family in Chicago. Then we went to Florida for an engagement session. Now we're in Boulder adventuring in the snow with another our friends Oakley and Laura. Next we'll be boondocking in Zion and hanging around Vegas with another photographer nomad friend Mandy. After that, we'll be exploring Tahoe for the first time. Then in March we'll be spending another couple weeks in Sedona before heading back to the east coast.
I cannot imagine living a stationary life. Living on the road isn't perfect of course. We've had a few mechanical issues on the truck, some freezing cold nights, our Casita always has something to fix, and driving 4,000 miles a month can get exhausting (thank God for podcasts). But honestly, I don't think we have any more issues than before. Life will always have problems. We just traded our old ones for new ones. In exchange, we have a life we love and something to look forward to every day." - Josh Hartman
